Science in the Beacon Hill Grammar School has three parts:

1. Nature journal–In the vein of Anna Comstock’s Nature Study Journal, every student makes an entry each week to sharpen their powers of observation and to express more thankfulness for the beautiful things God has made.

2. Science Facts–Students memorize a fact each week.  Facts are arranged in themes of Biology, Chemistry, Origins, Astronomy, Geology, and so forth.  On Fridays, the class will examine the fact further, and do a related learning activity.
